This is a vintage Japanese Buddhist statue of Seishi Bosatsu, also known as Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva.
Seishi Bosatsu is an important bodhisattva in Japanese Buddhism and is often associated with wisdom, spiritual strength, and the power to guide people toward enlightenment. Together with Kannon Bosatsu, Seishi Bosatsu is traditionally known as one of the attendants of Amida Buddha.
This statue has a beautiful golden finish and a calm, refined expression. Its compact size makes it suitable for display on a shelf, altar, desk, or in a Japanese-style interior.
The detailed halo, lotus pedestal, and elegant seated posture give this piece a dignified and peaceful presence. It is recommended for collectors of Buddhist art, Japanese religious objects, and traditional interior décor.
This is a vintage item from the Showa period. Minor scratches, stains, discoloration, wear, or other signs of age may be present due to long-term storage.
